4:29 PM by Wolf Lord Noam ·
I got good news and some more good news:

Dear Space Wolves brothers, the wait is over! The blog is back to life!
Most of you know me as Noam, one of the administrators on the Space Wolves Facebook Page. I now run the Space Wolves blog. Adam, the previous wolf lord in charge of the blog, is going to stay on board as a writer and will provide us with exciting articles starting in early March. He is commissioned to write 6 articles a month which will be very exciting. I have also contacted other writers from our community who will start contributing very shortly!

These are exciting times on Fenris these days! New Models are rumored to be release for our armies, the 6th edition is looming and as old enemies become new again (with the release of every new codex) the challenges facing the wolves are mounting!
In the coming few months I intend to add a discussion forum which will allow us to exchange ideas, discuss strategies and share war stories and a swap shop forum to allow us all to trade bits and models. I also believe we deserve a proper picture gallery where we can all share ideas about painting models etc… in Short, I intend to improve and add some new functionality to the blog.

Now I know all of you like to get free stuff, who doesn’t? And I know we discussed different ways for you guys to help support the blog. So I am going to leave it up to you, my dear brothers, to decide how much you want to help me keep this blog alive.
To the right of the blog there is a DONATE button. It will take you to PayPal where you could donate any amount you want. I believe that we should each do as much as we can to keep this Blog running and the content flowing. As I mentioned on the Facebook page, those donating above $40 shall receive a T-Shirt (Paul is going to help me with selecting the design and the text on the shirt). We are planning to finalize the design by end of March and have it to you before end of April.

Remember, there is no time like the present to help us get this blog going… DONATE!
We are aiming to have at least one article per week (we plan for more!). We also want you guys to contact us (via the Facebook Page) with questions and ideas for articles you will want to read. If you believe you can help the Space Wolves clan by sharing your experience, battle reports or anything like that, please feel free to send us your content. If we choose to publish it, we will notify you in advance!

Truly yours,

Wolf Lord, Noam

wait what? Adam is still going to write for the SW blog? why? the man abandoned the blog and the wolves. Left the site dead for the longest time without the common decency to inform those who follow the blog. Not to mention all the contributors were given the short sharp nudge despite most of them wanting to carry on. Not to mention Adam's post honestly felt "selective" aimed towards power gaming, while deleting unwanted post and comments from various peoples! So why should any of us give a damn if he's "commissioned" to write six articles a month when he couldn't even update the SW blog. Was he even truly a wolf player? a worthy one at that? sure he had great articles and a beautiful army. But how many times did he have to redo and sell them to get it right? I think the blog is better off without him! start fresh with people who are dedicated towards the chapter.

With all due respect Anonymous guy (no name, brother?) Adam was one of the ones (if not THE one) who created this blog. Without him, the blog at least would be a worse place, if ever it existed. Most of my tactics came into creation based off HIS method of war. And based off the Battle Reports, he is a very good Commander. Lay off the hate. I owe him many victories, and a few raised tankards beside.

Anyway, I pray that there are more Battle Reports and some conversion guides. This Wolf Lord could do with some entertainment and fresh tactics...

I am trying to figure out something similar to the Comics... maybe a weekly animated flash movie or something... as for Adam, I understand that some people have storng feelings about the situation but I think right now we are in a much better lets look forward and if anyone would like to write in and put his own spin on Space Wolves, I invite you to do so.

I remember Nacho promising to draw the 2nd chapter of the comix in 2012. It was his deviantart that I found out that this blog was dead. He then told that will post the comix elsewhere. Now that the blog is back.. It's up to him to post it here...

I might write some conversion tutorials. Well, at least write one for a try. Which conversion would people like to see most?

Sodding....forgotten my sign in register when at a comp....

This is rocking news, I used to swing by now and then in the hope that this would be back in business. Good job Naom!

As for Adam, he doesn't only have the wolves blog but several others, and the tau one is still flowing. We've all had times where we grow bored with one army and really excited about another. My poor elder rarely see daylight now I have the wolves and pre heresy death wing.

The guy had great articles and deserves respect even if he hasn't posted on this blog in a while!

Also....more battle reports

Welcome back!

I seem to have missed the rumours regarding new models. Is there anywhere where one can read more about these?

First off thanks for stepping up and saving a the wolf pack. I love the direction you plan on taking us and cannot wait to have the readers involved on a weekly basis. This will turn this blog into something special, essentially making us a true wolf pack.

Article Ideas:

1/ Wolf Pack Wednesdays: A weekly series that will highlight and showcase the various armies from the rest of the pack. Essentially an article that is submitted from the readers about their army composition, concepts and of course a selection of photos. I am willing to submit one based off my Space Wolves if you need an example.

2/ I recently attended Gottacon 2012 and placed 8 out 60 with me being the top Space Wolf Army. To commemorate this I will be writing 5 story based batreps that highlights the tribulation of the wolf pack known as The Ravenous. I would like to submit these to the site and look to join the team as a contributor if your like what I have done.

3/ List advice: An advice column where readers email in their army for improvement.

4/ A Blog roll that tracks all Imperial Space Wolf Blogs and one for Renegade Space Wolf blogs as well.

Cheers once again for saving the blog and would love to hear your thoughts on my ideas.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

As some of you will know, I was having a lot of real-life problems and couldn't dedicate the time that the blog truly deserved. It seemed best to end things on a high (with a bloody great big battle!) and return to it when life had sorted itself out.

Since Novemner, I have been approached by a lot of people who wanted to continue with the Space Wolves blog. But I did not feel that any of them were really dedicated enough...until I got talking to Noam.

Anyway, in response to Mr Anonymous - there are many questions here which I feel you would all like answering. I'm currently discussing with Noam about giving an interview to not only explain all the ins and outs, but to give you guys some deeper insights into how much work goes into a blog like this.

After all, I'll bet you'll struggle to find a blog that brings you the huge range of content that we do -and comics too!

I'd have to agree with Wolf Lord Coltonamore.

Yes, Darkseer didn't transition out well. I would have appreciated some kind of a 'back in 5' post, tbh. But.... who knows what life had brought his way, with whatever pressures and stresses are involved? *shrugs*

Without saying anything more on the subject, I look forwards to having _something_ to read about. To misquote a favourite line of mine from Rising Sun "allocating blame is less important than addressing the problem."

Let the Wolf times roll! ;)

Wonderful. I am looking forward to seeing more about the Wolves here.

I play Tau but picked up the Wolves' Codex and 5 complete Wolf Pack Sprues for an awesome price a couple of months ago. I'm looking to build my army from the ground up using what I've found here.

Hmm not quite sure of your aims and the donate button seems a bit much.

All the best blogs are about the interests and insights of the writer and often plot their journey through the hobby. No offence to Adam but as his interest in Space Wolves tailed off so did his blog.

To make this blog great it needs someone collecting, painting and gaming spacer wolves and writing about it.

Good luck.

How would one go about contacting or submitting pics, ideas, conversions, etc? I'm not finding a "contact us" link anywhere.

Good, you´re back!!

I found very strange to don´t have any news from the blog since November...

Adam, ok, I understand you have REAL LIFE problems but... a little entry on the blog explaining that should have been enough to all your readers worldwide.

Will come again for reading, hope the blog doesn´t die again without a word!

Thanks for picking up where Adam left off. Yeah, I was a tad annoyed at the drop off, but whatever. I've been in some tight situations myself where a blog just seems frivolous and stupid in comparison (yes, including a "be back in 5" post :P ). After it tailed off, I went to Dakka and learned much, but now I'm back (with way more experience painting/modeling, I might add).

I'm looking forward to more content (and maybe putting some up, if you'll have it). Rock on.

Awsome to see the blog back up.

I have to say that I completely disagree with the guys who have bashed Adam and think they come across as both rude and childish. It takes a massive amount of time & work to prepare the content for a Blog like this. Yes the content is free, but that is not to say that we should not appreciate the effort that goes into preparing it. Sometimes 'life' happens and we have to take a break. That's not a reason to turn on the publisher of such a great resource.

I for one have taken a massive amount of insights from articles all over the Blog and thank Adam for all of the effort over the years.

For the Wolftime!

To Noam, thanks for picking up the blog!!!!

I'm glad to see the blog back up and running. Sorry to hear that personal issues have kept Adam away from the blog but it would've been nice for him to post something that the site will not be upadted for a time, unspecified. But the important part I hope that everything is back on track for Adam in his personal life.

Looking to see where the blog goes from here. My recommendation for something to add is a more indepth section on the Wolfwing. I am WW player and have to look at various sites to get information and hope it can be something that you carry on your site in greater detail, to include various types of WW i.e. footslogging, vehicles (forge world also, CAR)and lists that are competitive and fun.

Nice to see you guys back up!

Its great your back up and running this site is awesome for info on the wolves for my favourite ice planet, and adam take no notice of the slander, we all know that life can be a kick in the crotch (and if you don't then you are to young or living a sheltered life and you should stop relying on your mom)

Am I the only one to see about the 6th edition if so then you people don't read these post properly.
Couple of questions about that, is there any info about the units ?? (We could do with some good low point assault units, sure the pups are good for fluff but the can never land a hit before most of them have been killed and thunder wolves become bullet, shell, plasma ect magnets)

I know you'll let us know when you do but do you know anything else wow that's a lot of knows in one sentence but is there anything else you can tell us now (maybe a bit impatient, sorry)

Also should there be a few more 5th editions coming out before we get revamped ie templars dark angels

If I have read this post slightly wrong and my rant makes no sense ignore it
