Fenrisian Wolves models in the top picture. Two Fenrisian wolves accompany Canis in the bottom. I hope the Fenrisian wolves wont get hungry and eat Canis' hamster!
THUNDERWOLVES ARE GO! I like how Dynamic the Thunderwolves models are! I just wish Games workshop would have invested a bit more and made the riders models different in look than pretty much every other Space Wolves model... what happened to capes? or wolf pelts blowing in the wind? I guess the creativity stopped once they finished the Thunderwolves models. But those are sweet as can be!
These models are VERY exciting. I wish I had pictures of the new Arjac model to share as well.

But still way too much coming out in Failcast. Arjac, Bjorn, Ulrik, WL on TW, GH with standard.
The plastics do look amazing though.

The big question is when. Personally, I think the Thunderwolves from www.mrdandy.com look much better, but I will still probably get the GW ones. I really would like to have seen new models for the special characters, and maybe bits to make my own Iron Priest and Wolf Priest. I just happy that Space Wolves are getting a second wave.

Looks like I'll have to buy some new TWC models now, as myMythicast ones will no longer be legal :(
Oh well, A box of Fen Wolves, a box of TWC, the Lord on TWC, and some RP Finecast models = a lot of $$ spent in March on updating my Wolves

You do have Arjac, hes in the top picture. look at the terminator with the round shield bigger than the rest!!

Kind of a letdown, to be honest.
Resin lord?
Really do wish they weren't on such large bases. Cavalry on massive bases is just dumb given their speed, range, and now immense ability to give cover. Game changing, I'd say. Also, they are MUCH MUCH more resilient to the one thing that munches these guys: the large blast templates.
Whatever, I'll just convert my models with magnets onto large bases and maybe buy a few over time.
Resin... lord? and Bjorn? Super weak.

I am with Barry, I really like the MrDandy's wolves, I also can say that these ones are pretty good!

I'm also a fan of the new GW wolves. I think they'll match my Paulson Games wolves pretty well (sorry guys, didn't like the Mr. Dandy set). Lots of dynamic poses going on, and the Fenrisian wolves are also pretty wicked looking.
Just when I thought I was done buying models for a little while, they've gotta go and update the 2 armies that I own...

unfortunately it seems that GW can't just be awesome, they have to waste time and money converting ragnar and ulrik's woeful models into finecast, most rumors are putting them as "repackaged resin". On a positive note though, those wolves actually look like the horrifying beasts that only fenris could breed. And now no one will ever buy canis and his squirrel ever again.

Hello, i'm a fan of your blog and i just saw the new releases yesterday with a friend which is a GW manager. You've forgot one release which is a Grey Hunter with wolf standard in resin finecast (the standard looks like the standard of the Forge Wold SW Dreadnought.
