From Our Readers

Thanks for all your emails. You're an inspiration to us as much as we are to you!

This week we've been treated to more Pre Heresy Space Wolf Conversions from Jared, including a work in progress conversion of Leman Russ himself, accompanied by his wolf brothers Freki The Fierce and Geri The Cunning.

Inspired by the cover art of Prospero Burns, Jared knew exactly how he wanted to represent Leman Russ in all his feral majesty as the barbarian king.

We can't wait for the final details to be added and to see him all painted up!

Meanwhile, Daniel Smith has been sending us photos of his converted Space Wolf Terminators which combine all manner of bits from the Wolf Guard Terminator boxed set with Forge World terminator parts.

A lot of people seem to be taking clippers and a modelling knife to the big wolf cloak since my Space Hulk Rune Priest conversion). Maybe I've started something?

I really love Dan's Rune Priest, made with one of the FW Space Wolf Terminator torsos and some very careful repositioning of legs, arms and accessories.

You wouldn't think those were regular Terminator legs 'wolfed up' with all manner of feral bling.

The wolf tails and rope belt look stunning, as does the pose of the overall model. I especially like the outstretched arm, casting a psychic power.

Send Us Your Space Wolves Conversions
Whether you'd like to see your name up in lights or simply share your ideas and creations with the Space Wolves community -send us photos of your conversions!

You've gotta love the modelling aspect of the hobby where one person comes up with a great idea. Then someone else takes that idea in another direction. And later someone develops both ideas further into something truly outstanding.

Please submit your work so we can keep swapping, sharing and creating truly exquisite conversions for our Space Wolves armies.

He needs a beard... and an Eyepatch! To make him more closely resemble the All-Father Odin. Freki and Geri look amazing! The detail on the braids and armour is astounding, I love the fangs :D. Once again, please keep us updated on Jared's work!

they look alright, nothing really stands out. Jared's work is interesting though! does he have a blog or something for his wip for us to look at? there is a guy on B&C, space wolf forum section, his work definitely stands out, amazing and inspiring! I forgot his name, if you want a space wolf conversion that really represents a space wolf, you should post his work here. Or have him post here as a member? also we need more GS work and tutorials please!!!! like beards and fur pelts. And how about starting a YouTube account for the blog? battle reps and painting tutorials on video?

He is on here as a member. Go to B&C and tell Wolf Lord Mjolnir to get right on it!

I would but I don't have a B&C account. I just creep the forums and blogs haha. It's definately not Wolf Lord Mjolnir, although his pre heresy SW is just as great, and his work is already on several forums. And I've seen Mjolnir post here already. The guy I'm thinking of, I've only seen his work on B&C. It would be great to see his work on this blog. Anyway so how about doing battle reports on video like on bell of lost souls? maybe even a podcast? or have video clips taken of the wolf time campaign your doing?

I wish I knew how to handle green-stuff that well. Fantastic job on the conversions!

I'd love to know where those fenrisian wolf models, shown with leeman russ, came from. All the green stuff work is amazing as always, but those models looks perfect for fenrisian wolves (and people who suck at modeling, like me could use them :P)

Could I get Jared to sculpt me a Leman Russ? I'd pay him via paypal to do it! Please?

I love this Green Stuff work. It's truly amazing!

I was wondering though, could we get a green stuff tutorial on how to make the wolf heads I see perched above the models heads?
